Important information about renting Quiet Cove!
Our rental week runs from Saturday, with check-in anytime after 4 p.m., through the following Saturday, with check-out at 10 a.m. (Shorter stays typically need to fall within this weekly Saturday-Saturday timeframe. Call us for more details.)
We ask that reservations be made at least two-weeks in advance of your arrival date! This gives us the time we need here to properly secure and confirm your reservation. Please plan accordingly and call ahead!
All prices and offerings are subject to change.
Our home is state inspected and licensed, And our home is managed by us, the owners, who love our place very much. We will do all that we can so that you will love our home as much as we do and have a wonderful, memorable stay!

2011–2012 Prime Season rate: $1700 weekly; $340 nightly
Prime Season: Dec. 24, 2011 through Jan. 7, 2012; May 26, 2012 through Sept. 8, 2012; Nov. 17 through 24, 2012; and Dec. 22, 2012 through Jan. 5, 2013.
Three-night stays are available, but an additional administration/cleaning fee of $150 applies.

General Information
- Quiet Cove is pet friendly! All pet stays must be pre-arranged. See "Rental Policies and Procedures" below for more information.
- Our kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils. We also have a full-service laundry (but you must provide the laundry detergent, bleach, and fabric softeners).
- A Weber grill is available for your use in the summer. We ask that you provide your own charcoal and clean it before you leave.
- Clean bed linens and kitchen towels are provided. Personal bath and beach towels are NOT provided. You will also need to bring personal tolietries and re-supply paper products (toliet paper and paper towels).
- A community pier is located about a 1/4 mile east of our home and is available for your use. Please note that the water near the community pier is shallow (anywhere from 3 ft to 5 ft deep), and the area by our home is a "no-wake" zone. Just east of the pier is a public launch for Castle Rock Lake. Please let us know if you will be bringing a boat.
- A security deposit is required, equal to the nightly base rate of the rental. Security deposits are refunded within 14 days of departure, barring any damages.
- No refunds for early departure.
- Persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
- Reservations are confirmed by mail and e-mail.
- Prices are subject to change.
- All rates are subject to a 5.5% state and county tax.
Rental Policies and Procedures
RESERVATIONS: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the signed Vacation Rental Agreement, Guest Data and Rental Policies Form, and 50% deposit of the Vacation Home Base Rental. The guest named on the Vacation Rental Agreement is the party responsible for the reservation, adhering to our policies, and assuring that the property is appropriately maintained during the stay.
PAYMENT: In order to confirm your reservation, an advanced deposit of 50% of the total base rent is due within 10 days of making your reservation. Payment may be made in the form of Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or personal check. Final balance, tax and security deposit is due no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. Reservations made less than 15 days prior to arrival require full payment via Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or personal check mailed overnight to the owners of Quiet Cove. Returned checks will be accessed a service charge of $25.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit is required equivalent to one night’s stay at the prime season rate. This amount is refunded within 14 days of departure, barring any damages or failures to comply with our rental policies. If damage to the premises occurs in excess of the security deposit, the primary renter will be held liable.
PETS: Quiet Cove allows pets, but all pet stays must be pre-arranged. There is a non-refundable fee of $50 for each pet, and an additional security deposit of $100 for each pet. The security deposit is refunded within 14 days of departure, barring any damages caused by the pet. If damage to the premises occurs in excess of the pet security deposit, the main rental security deposit will be drawn upon. If damage to the premises occurs in excess of the main rental security deposit, the primary renter will be held liable.
CANCELLATIONS: Deposits are refundable (less a 10% administration fee of the total base rental) due to cancellations with a minimum 60-day notice prior to arrival. A refund with a notice of less than 60 days notice is possible only when the home becomes booked and rented during that same rental period.
PROCEDURE: Upon receipt of your deposit, the Vacation Rental Agreement (showing total amount due), directions to the home, an area map, a list of amenities, and your personal key code combination will bemailed to you. Only when we have received the signed rental agreement and completed Guest Data Sheet is your confirmation considered complete. The personal key code will allow you immediate entry into the home. Upon your arrival, call us immediately from the home’s phone. We will arrange a meeting time for you and our greeter at the home (either that evening or early the next morning), so she may welcome you, acquaint you with our home and the area, and answer any questions you may have.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Our home is privately owned. We have opened our home to you so that you may enjoy your vacation in a “home environment.” As our guests, we expect that you will treat our home with due respect and leave the premises in the same condition you found it. Our property is furnished according to our individual tastes and preferences. Refunds are not given for dissatisfaction with the décor, availability of T.V. stations, location of the home, any changes or additions made to the home, or advertising errors.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES: The arrival and departure times, as listed on your agreement, must be adhered to. Due time must be given to our cleaning staff to have the home ready for the next guests. Check-in time is anytime after 4 p.m. Check-out time is no later than 10 a.m. A $25 fee will be deducted from the security deposit for failure to adhere to the departure time.
REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: As with any home, appliances, systems and equipment can malfunction at any time. Your vacation is important to us. Malfunctions will be corrected as soon as possible. Authorized repair personnel may enter the premises and grounds at any time for purposes related to repairs and/or maintenance of any appliances or equipment within the home. If, per our determination, our home is “temporarily unfit for occupancy,” your rent will be refunded.
GENERAL POLICIES: The following lists our general policies. Failure to comply with this list will result in immediate eviction, loss of remaining rent and forfeiture of security deposit.
- No persons under the age of 21 are allowed to enter into the legal rental agreement and must be accompanied during the entire rental period by a parent or legal guardian.
- There are no refunds for early departure, acts of nature or dissatisfaction with the property and/or accommodations.
- Fireworks are strictly PROHIBITED. Immediate eviction, loss of rent and security deposit will ensue.
- Maximum occupancy (EIGHT) is listed on your rental agreement. Exceeding this number is strictly PROHIBITED.
- Your rental agreement states the contracted departure time. Failure to adhere will result in a $25 charge assessed to your security deposit.
- Recycling of garbage is required. Our home is equipped with a separate recycling bin. If you need an additional pick-up of refuse during your stay, please call and let us know. Failure to recycle will result in a minimum $50 deduction from your security deposit.
- Please note that the Waterstone subdivision clubhouse and all of its surrounding ammenities, including the parking lot, the playground, the courts, the putting green, the volleyball area and the minilake/minilake beach
are all OFF-LIMITS to renters due to our subdivision regulations. If any renters are found to be using any of these amenities, the rental party will be evicted, as such use severely jeopardizes our ability to rent our home.
- The burning of candles, oil lamps and scents are strictly PROHIBITED. In lieu of candles, please enjoy the battery-operated candles that have been placed throughout our home.
- Smoking is PROHIBITED in our home and will result in eviction and forfeiture of rent and security deposit.
- Our home is equipped with a telephone for your safety and local convenience. It allows local phone calls, emergency 911 calls, and toll-free calls only. (You can call us, the owners, via our toll-free number.) You must use your credit card or a phone card for any long-distance calls. The phone number for the home is listed on your agreement. Please make sure your guests and family have this number so that they can reach you in case of emergency. NOTE — Reliability of your personal cell phone reception is dependent upon your individual provider.
